If your looking for very different beautiful food then this is the place to go. After waiting months for a reservation we finally got there in October all 6 of us and guess what we have been there every month since and our now eagerly waiting our January experience . This is a WOW restaurant.

Amazing food, particularly the cheese custard and the mushroom tart. Staff made us feel special and not at all out of place in spite of our rucksacks and travelling clothes (we were on our way to the airport).

We had the surprise lunch - amazing! Some of the best food we've had. The cheese custard is to die for. I would go back to Belfast just to go here.

Came here with my partner after seeing the head chef Alex on the great British menu , we had the 8 course surprise menu so had no idea what any of the dishes were until we were served them .
We were not disappointed, every course was a revelation in what a talented chef can produce from quality local ingredients, we also had the incredible edible book at the end and it also was fabulous.
The service as expected was faultless , we didn’t have the wine pairing on this occasion so I can’t comment on that ( however it looked very impressive)
I can’t wait to return , a truly WOW experience

Fabulous food and staff.Incredible lunch time deal of £6.50....So good that we booked supper there, too.Two restaurants, side by side, one specialising in fish, the other, meat. However, the paparedelle was as good as any eaten in Italy. A MUST when visiting g Belfast.

Our first time at Deans Epic and what a night it was. Fabulous from start to finish a very slick run restaurant with lovely staff who really knew there stuff from the food to the wine pairing. The food was a work of art by the amazing Alex Greene with flavours to die for . Will most definitely be back.

"Absolutely amazing food and great service!"
The food is amazing. There are “only” 2 menus: 1 smaller and bigger one which has more courses added to the smaller one. This all for a set price. There are wines selected which you can pair to each course, but it’s completely optional. Drinks are excluded from the menu set price.
Each course was perfect.
Just one major minus: please keep the toilets clean... and the door which you had to push against before entering was super dirty... this did not match the high standard of the food and service.
Still 5 full points as the food was just superb.

"Exceptional in every way"
Came here recently for lunch on a trip to Belfast with my fiancé to celebrate our anniversary. He is a chef and a big foodie fan so it was an ideal opportunity to try a Michelin star restaurant. I knew the menu options as per the website but all three options were explained to us clearly upon being seated, there is a £30pp lunch menu, and a £45 or £70pp tasting menu option also available with wine pairing options (you can have a ‘shot’ £6 or glass of wine £9 per course, a ‘shot’ being just a slightly less measure), loved the option of the ‘shot’, something I’ve never seen before. We went for the £70 tasting menu and my fiancé did the wine pairing having both glasses and shots depending on the course. The wine is explained prior to each course by an exceptional sommelier, who’s passion and enthusiasm for wine clearly comes across. Every course was unbelievably delicious, and not as small as I’ve had in previous tasting menus. The steak tartar dish comes smoked, and as the clear cloche is removed the smoke evaporates around you, the added theatre is fantastic! I was assured all of the wine was amazing too. My foodie fiancé was in his element asking loads of questions all of which were happily and knowledgeably answered. My personal favourite was the chocolate dessert, with banana ice cream and coconut foam...my mouth is watering writing this and thinking about it! As mentioned above, the sommelier was great, but so too were the male waiter and female waitress who ran all the food and who explained each course. The decor is elegant and classy and I loved the little stool offered to women for their handbags, a lovely touch. I also loved the keep your own menu handed to you at the end. Yes it is expensive, this lunch trip set us back £235 (including 10% service charge which is well deserved), but as this was a special occasion my fiancé and I agreed it was worth every penny, and the menu was sufficient enough that we didn’t have to eat again for the rest of the day. We have ate in the Ox before, another Michelin star restaurant in Belfast, and although it was fabulous too, we both agreed this place tips the scale. I couldn’t recommend enough.

"Wow just incredible!!"
We had the most incredible dining experience at Eipic last night. We had the 7 course taster menu with wine pairing. Every course was sensational, even wine selected by the sommelier was pecfect. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
This was a very special night, one I will remember for a very long time.

"Michelin Star in the heart of Belfast"
I went to Eipic on a Friday night with my brother.
Their taster menu was delicious. 6 lovely courses with a few extra treats along the way. The standout dish for me was the beef tartare.
We had paired with wines with each course - the French sommelier was very personable and knows his wine as well as cheese.
I prefer the more formal approach with white table cloths to the casual set up of ox although I think the food in ox is slightly better. Eipic is more of a luxury experience.
They only offer a taster menu which probably won’t suit a lot of people but this is to be expected at this level in Belfast.
Eipic is definitely worth a trip.

"Wine and food matching"
Dad and I had the tasting menu in Eipic recently. It is expensive but its an evening's entertainment with excellent service, very comfortable and good food. Didier really made our night with his spot on wine and food matching; we went for his suggestions with each course. And the Abernethy butter...with that wheaten bread...bliss. I'd be happy with that for my last meal!

"Outstandingly delicious"
Traveled to Belfast for an overnight stay and included a first visit to Deanes EIPIC - an amazing evening of tastes all of which were absolutely delicious.

Lovely room set up for relaxing dining

Had the tasting menu and the accompanying wines - highly recommend this option - as the journey through the courses with the wide and varied wine selection from superb sommelier Didier Nyeceront adds a superb dimension to the experience.

Beautiful tasters and bread to start and set us up and then onto a superb selection of dishes - a trio of langoustine - scorched, tartare and ice cream - followed by quail which was judged the highlight amongst an array of excellent dishes - next came the halibut and then the venison- every course was beautifully presented and accompanied - we added the cheese course and then onto a trio of deserts - each one equally delicious - finished with a macaroon which just melted in the mouth.

This was a superb experience - highest quality - with friendly service from a team that clearly cared that you enjoyed the evening.
