Standing high on the wooded slopes of the Holywood hills, overlooking Belfast Lough and the County Antrim coastline, is the magnificent Culloden Estate and Spa, Northern Ireland’s most prestigious hotel.

The Culloden is just a nine iron away from many fine parkland courses, the most renowned of which is Royal Belfast. This superb 18-hole parkland course sits on the edge of Belfast Lough, just next door to the hotel and has a unique pedigree. Founded in 1881 it is Ireland’s oldest golf club and it is as prestigious as it is charming. Guests can enjoy privileged tee-off times at Royal Belfast and the hotel Concierge can make the necessary arrangements.

The Culloden Estate & Spa is well aware that there can be more to your golfing vacation than just great golf. Enjoy fine dining in our Mitre Restaurant, or soak up the ‘pub’ atmosphere of our Cultra Inn. “The best hotel we've ever stayed in.”

눇Everything was exceptional. Myself and Husband were on moneymoon here. Our room was upgraded. The best views in the hotel. The food was outstanding. The staff fabulous. Cant wait to go back.

I recently stayed in the Culloden Estate and Spa, and felt the level of excellence had to be recognized.

From the moment I entered the hotel, the atmosphere was relaxing, yet classy, and I instantly felt at ease and comfortable within my surroundings. I had afternoon tea in the lounge where I met up with the friends I was staying with for the weekend, and we had a very relaxing afternoon. The service was top notch. Back up to the room before dinner - it was sufficient, homely and practical......The following day, breakfast was again well presented, and very enjoyable. Nothing like a good start to the day for a game of golf!
