The beauty of our original 18th Century Chapel, stunning stained-glass windows, perfectly landscaped gardens, luxurious guestrooms and delicious onsite catering makes The Abbey the perfect venue to say “I do!" Our exceptional wedding team will transform the spaces into everything you have ever dreamed,of and ensure that your day runs smoothly in the most beautiful surroundings, from your ceremony through to your reception and after that.
The private landscaped courtyard at the rear of the property is ideal for outdoor drinks receptions and picture-perfect photos. The beautifully appointed open-plan ballroom, which features incredible crystal chandeliers, they will make your night magical. It is perfectly arranged for you and your guests to experience our lavish wedding menus with 250 of your guests.
Our 18th Century Chapel can host wedding ceremonies of up to 150 guests, open to all types of ceremonies. Some features, vaulted ceilings, stained-glass windows, and original heritage tiles. The Chapel can be transformed in the evenings into a spectacular entertainment space, with its very own Chapel Bar.
Our 38 contemporary bedrooms can sleep over 90 people, including two prestigious wedding suites. Our bespoke designed wedding suite boasts a dedicated “getting ready" area for the morning of the wedding, fitted with four makeup stations and a floor-to-ceiling three-fold mirror. This makes it the ideal setting to start your wedding day, with more than ample room for you, your stylists, and your bridal party to get ready together.
While we offer various carefully curated wedding menus and packages for couples to choose from, The Wedding Team at The Abbey is happy to work with couples to plan your ultimate dream wedding. The team will be delighted to discuss with you the hosting of your pre and post-wedding celebrations at The Abbey, be it small and intimate or lavish and extravagant.

We got married here in July and had a BBQ (indoor due to Irish summer) the following day. We had an amazing weekend! The Abbey was perfect for us from the intimate spaces, beautiful decor and outdoor courtyard. The food all weekend was incredible and commented on by so many guests. Arizabeth and all staff are amazing, so friendly and made the weekend run so smoothly. I'd highly recommend here for anyone recently engaged.

Weeks later, we're still absolutely gushing over the Abbey; it was the perfect venue for our wedding. You really had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food to luxurious facilities. We could not have asked for better! You truly made us feel like a VIP throughout the day and your top notch events team helped ensure that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Guests were in awe of the venue, how fantastic the food was, and how every detail was perfectly executed. We could not recommend the Abbey enough, and can't wait to return for future celebrations. It's definitely well-worth the investment for a beautiful, love-filled and stress free wedding day.

Every element of our wedding at The Abbey was perfect. We couldn't be happier that we chose it as our venue.
Visually, the venue is stunning. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how great it looked. One of our favourite parts of the venue was that we got multiple aesthetics in one place. With the rustic, distressed vibe of the Chapel, paired with the bold, maximalist design elements from the reception area and ball room, it was the best of both worlds. We saved so much money on flowers because we loved the gorgeous on-site arrangements, and we even opted to use the same florist for our bouquets since we loved the flowers at The Abbey so much.
The food was next level. Multiple guests said it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding, especially the vegetarians. One guest said it was the best dessert he'd had in his entire life!
The staff are warm, friendly and incredibly attentive and thoughful. They are complete pros. Arizbeth, Jamie and the whole team were always on top of everything and worked so hard to make sure everything went smoothly, during the planning process and on the day itself.
