The Abbey has been recently renovated and is a hidden gem for your wedding venue for the 2022/2023 wedding season. Our many exceptional and unique features of this stunning venue, make us the ideal wedding location.

The beauty of our original 18th Century Chapel, stunning stained-glass windows, perfectly landscaped gardens, luxurious guestrooms and delicious onsite catering makes The Abbey the perfect venue to say “I do!" Our exceptional wedding team will transform the spaces into everything you have ever dreamed,of and ensure that your day runs smoothly in the most beautiful surroundings, from your ceremony through to your reception and after that.

The private landscaped courtyard at the rear of the property is ideal for outdoor drinks receptions and picture-perfect photos. The beautifully appointed open-plan ballroom, which features incredible crystal chandeliers, they will make your night magical. It is perfectly arranged for you and your guests to experience our lavish wedding menus with 250 of your guests.

Our 18th Century Chapel can host wedding ceremonies of up to 150 guests, open to all types of ceremonies. Some features, vaulted ceilings, stained-glass windows, and original heritage tiles. The Chapel can be transformed in the evenings into a spectacular entertainment space, with its very own Chapel Bar.

Our 38 contemporary bedrooms can sleep over 90 people, including two prestigious wedding suites. Our bespoke designed wedding suite boasts a dedicated “getting ready" area for the morning of the wedding, fitted with four makeup stations and a floor-to-ceiling three-fold mirror. This makes it the ideal setting to start your wedding day, with more than ample room for you, your stylists, and your bridal party to get ready together.

While we offer various carefully curated wedding menus and packages for couples to choose from, The Wedding Team at The Abbey is happy to work with couples to plan your ultimate dream wedding. The team will be delighted to discuss with you the hosting of your pre and post-wedding celebrations at The Abbey, be it small and intimate or lavish and extravagant.
