The ground floor of Royd Cottage has recently been renovated, offering a warm and cozy lounge with two comfortable leather sofas, a TV, and a vibrant purple feature wall. It also provides direct access to the shared courtyard, where guests can relax at the outdoor table and seating provided.

The kitchen/diner is well-equipped for couples or families staying in North Devon, featuring an electric oven with hob, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. A spacious table with leather chairs comfortably seats up to four guests, and a high chair can be provided for families with young children.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms that share the family bathroom, equipped with a bath with a shower attachment, a WC, and a washbasin. The first bedroom is a charming double bedroom with a double bed, ample storage, and period charm. The second bedroom is a twin room with two full-size single beds, storage, and an exposed stone wall. The first floor also offers direct access to the car park.

Royd Cottage is nestled in the serene countryside just outside the charming village of West Down in North Devon.

A short drive from the cottage will lead you to the coastal villages of Woolacombe and Croyde, both renowned for their stunning beaches, ideal for swimming, relaxation, and various water sports.

For a dining experience or shopping adventure, Braunton is nearby, offering excellent eateries and charming independent stores. Additionally, the town of Ilfracombe, is less than a 15-minute drive away.

If you prefer exploring North Devon on foot, the South West Coast Path is easily accessible, providing a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the local scenery and wildlife. The Tarka Trail is another fantastic option, suitable for walkers and cyclists of all ages and skill levels.
