This substantial country house affords discerning visitors the utmost in luxury and relaxation, with over 12,000 sq ft of living space. Rathbrack House includes many special features, including an indoor leisure facility with swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and cocktail bar.

Accommodation:

The house features a large country kitchen perfect for a gourmet chef. The Kitchen is equipped with everything required for any occasion, including a 4-oven AGA alongside a 2-oven electric AGA Module, combining 6 ovens in total. There are two side by side dishwashers / Large Fridge / Large Freezer / Large Microwave Oven / Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer and a Multi Temperature Wine Cabinet unit to store Red & White Wines to a correct temperature. All Kitchen / Utility appliances are by Miele and Leibherr. In addition, there is a 12-person dining table. (extra persons can easily be accommodated).

There is a charming living and dining area with double doors that lead out to the front and back of the house, where you can admire the incredible views over the countryside. There is also a large, beautifully furnished drawing room with double doors that open out to the main deck, where you can host a cocktail party with friends and family or enjoy a morning coffee.

The property features two Georgian-style open fireplaces: one is located in the Drawing Room and Library, while the other is a multi-fuel stove in the Living and Dining Area, perfect for relaxing in the evening.


There are three south-facing outdoor deck areas – one at lower ground level that opens onto the garden and Children’s Play Area with outdoor seating, one at Kitchen / Living and Drawing Room Level with outdoor seating which can be accessed both from Drawing Room and Kitchen / Living areas via sets of double doors and one at first floor level which is accessed from two of the First Floor Bedrooms, with seating for 4 persons. Sitting here for breakfast is simply stunning.


Outside leads to a garden area to the front of the house with a large pond in the middle. To the side and rear of the house are the vegetable garden, small apple orchard, garden & children’s play area. The views of the surrounding countryside, 18th Century Spire of Lloyd, Ireland’s only inland lighthouse (lit up at night with an array of changing colours) and views of the River Blackwater from all of the decks are spectacular. The two upper decks are surrounded by glass in order to encompass the views in their entirety.

The house has six luxurious bedrooms all of which are en-suite (4 of which have bath and Shower). Master Bedroom features a gas fire within a Georgian surround and large walk in dressing room. There are 7 bathrooms in total including one downstairs Bathroom.

While staying at Rathbrack house you will feel totally relaxed. The home comes with the “Lamar Spa” consisting of a large indoor heated Swimming Pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi and Bar area for guests to enjoy. There is also a generously equipped Gym complete with full reclining Massage Chair. There are also Male and Female Changing Rooms with toilets / wet rooms etc. The facilities are complete with towels, dressing gowns & slippers. The Spa area has floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides with double doors that open onto the lower deck/gardens.
