Self Catering Cottages
Set by the water's edge on a private island, our cottages offer a retreat for those in need of a well-earned spot of peace and quiet. Allow nature to envelop you with the ambient sounds of passing wildlife, then dip your toes in the gently lapping lough on your doorstep.
Sleeping six or eight guests, the two cottages offer generous living space both inside and out.
The Bridge House Cottage feels like the perfect holiday home by a lake. Warm, spacious and well-stocked with kitchen bits and bobs.
Cathcart's Lodge is a roomy bungalow with astonishing views. Both are popular with fishermen, who make full use of the barbecue grills when the catch is good.
Both our cottages are dog friendly, perfect for when every member of the family needs a break.
Belle Isle is full of outdoor spaces to explore, whether it be walks through our fragrant forests or our beautiful gardens. Visit our friendly donkeys and chickens to get up close to nature, children and pets will have lots of choice to occupy themselves. Travel a little bit further to explore Enniskillen and find ample opportunities to dine and drink.
Birthday celebrations 42 friends and family took over the whole house and 4 cottages for 5 days in July. We were celebrating my mums and Uncles 90th birthdays and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. The rooms were all very nice decorated and we had three sitting rooms to choose from. We self catered mainly- then ate in the Bistro on the Thursday evening and were catered for in the Hall on Friday. We hired bubble football and clay pigeon shooting and went canoeing in Enniskillen which had some lovely places to eat for lunchtime. The little Marina down the road was also a lovely place to sit in the sun. Overall a wonderful stay and definitely another visit to Northern Ireland on the cards.

Perfect stay We visited the Belle Isle cottages for a friend’s surprise 50th birthday weekend February 16-18, 2019, and had a fabulous time.
In all, we occupied five of the cottages, ranging for two to six-bedrooms, and they were all a great size with beautiful interiors.
Nothing was too much trouble for Andrea, in reception and we appreciated her recommendations and help throughout our stay.
My daughters (13,11) and I stayed in Lime Cottage which felt massive for the three of us! I have never stayed in a higher apartment - what you get for your money is brilliant!
The welcome pack consisted of organic eggs, wheaten bread, biscuits and butter. A lovely surprise but remember to bring your own coffee / tea and milk!
My girls lived roaming the estate and visiting the donkeys.
We all ate in the bistro and the food was perfect with an excellent choice of wines, plus some excellent recommendations by the staff.
We visited Florence Court which was 16 miles away and highly recommended.
We also visited the Killyhevlin House Hotel for an evening meal on the Saturday night and enjoyed both the food and the pianist. Andrea also organised a minibus to take us there and back.
It is great to see that dogs are welcomed by the owners and I can highly recommend Belle Isle as a great place to relax and recharge your batteries.

Fantastic! We have stayed in the Bridge House 3 times over Christmas(2weeks) May(1week)and October(1week) over the last couple years. We have always had a great time, house is very well equipped and cosy. We spent most of May in the garden having a BBQ and watching the boats go by. My partner and dad often took the boat out fishing but I reckon they took it around to the marina for a pint. A lovely welcome basket was always there, local produce was a nice touch. We often arrived out of office hours but was always welcomed by the friendly staff the following day. Andrea and staff are always on hand and helpful, nothing is too much. Our 2 Leonbergers love being close to the water and having all the space to play. Only thing I would comment on is the gardens not secure but that’s not a problem as all sheep and cows further away. We are booked in for 2 weeks again this Christmas but this time trying Cathcart cottage for a change. All in all Belle Isle Estate is a home from home for us, cannot recommend it enough to people. Thank you everyone, see you December!!
