Just to write a complaint about misinformed management , Booked the dome in OCT 17th for 1st of March as birthday gift for wife.
However due to the severe weather conditions we were unable to travel , as major routes from Dublin were blocked going to Enniskillen. Which we advised them about.
With major road warnings from Government and police forces on both side of the border . we tried travelling but had to turn back , but were advised by staff that maybe we could come by alternate route which they now have said they never advised as they are not travel agents and none of their team can give out information about road safety , they actually did ask us if we could come via any other route , as people from Belfast had no issue !! They advised us they had no cancellations or future dates open to us to defer booking , only to revert back to us over that weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of March for us to travel in same weather conditions which we declined due to road conditions, they the management also stated that we were covered and claimed from our travel insurance for reimbursement ,which was a natural first step to take so neither party has to bear the financial brunt (,in their words )which again is not the truth, we did not want to claim, we wanted to visit and spend more money with them in restaurant and small bar and hence put in a position that we had no option but to try and claim as Finn lough had put us in this predicament, ( to date we are still out of pocket as travel insurance company claim we are not covered ) also to state in a reply that the northwest of Ireland was not effected When roads and airports , public transport closed in Republic of Ireland and Scotland due to severe weather not taken into account .The bottom line on all this is , Finn Lough,we feel, were not interested in customer service on guests paying up front , a lot of money I may add
However may I wish all future guests at Finn Lough the best of what it has to offer and sample , as unfortunately we were not !
