Finn Lough: Fermanagh

Luxurious lakeside accommodation

Situated one mile from the Donegal/Fermanagh Border, Finn Lough offers the ideal setting from which to explore both counties. For those who are keen to stay put and relax there is plenty on offer within the 75 acre peninsula resort.

With two marinas stocked with kayaks, Hobie kayaks, fishing and day boats there is no excuse not to take to the water and explore the beautiful waters of the Erne with its numerous islands, sandy bays and river inlets.

If you prefer to stick to dry land we offer mountain bike hire allowing you to discover the hidden mountain lakes, castle ruins and bog lands that lie within 5 miles of the resort.

Those after more sedate exploration can enjoy meandering through our 3 km of woodland trails taking in the utterly tranquil lake views whilst keeping an eye out for the woodland inhabitants including red squirrels, badgers and red deer.

The resort restaurant offers daily breakfast, lunch and evening meals made with fresh local ingredients all sourced within a 30 mile radius. Also on offer are a selection of afternoon teas to suit all tastes whether you fancy something sweet, savoury or want to indulge in some local delights.

Our range of accommodation offers the perfect escape whatever you are looking for.

Our premium Lodges sleep six people and offer guests a little extra luxury along with a private deck and barbecue area overlooking the lake. The Waterside Lodges offer a high design finish set amongst our unspoiled surroundings; with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge with wood burning stove and complimentary WiFi.

Just to write a complaint about misinformed management , Booked the dome in OCT 17th for 1st of March as birthday gift for wife. However due to the severe weather conditions we were unable to travel , as major routes from Dublin were blocked going to Enniskillen. Which we advised them about. With major road warnings from Government and police forces on both side of the border . we tried travelling but had to turn back , but were advised by staff that maybe we could come by alternate route which they now have said they never advised as they are not travel agents and none of their team can give out information about road safety , they actually did ask us if we could come via any other route , as people from Belfast had no issue !! They advised us they had no cancellations or future dates open to us to defer booking , only to revert back to us over that weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of March for us to travel in same weather conditions which we declined due to road conditions, they the management also stated that we were covered and claimed from our travel insurance for reimbursement ,which was a natural first step to take so neither party has to bear the financial brunt (,in their words )which again is not the truth, we did not want to claim, we wanted to visit and spend more money with them in restaurant and small bar and hence put in a position that we had no option but to try and claim as Finn lough had put us in this predicament, ( to date we are still out of pocket as travel insurance company claim we are not covered ) also to state in a reply that the northwest of Ireland was not effected When roads and airports , public transport closed in Republic of Ireland and Scotland due to severe weather not taken into account .The bottom line on all this is , Finn Lough,we feel, were not interested in customer service on guests paying up front , a lot of money I may add However may I wish all future guests at Finn Lough the best of what it has to offer and sample , as unfortunately we were not !

“Amazing” Great experience, we stayed in the bubble dome for 1 night. The exclusivity of the resort is great with electric gates which make you feel safe. It can get a bit chilly as it was on one of our nights however bath robes and extra blankets are all supplied which was a nice touch. In your bubble you also have complimentary bottles of water and an espresso machine as well as the usual toilettries. You also get a golf buggy to take you to and from the dome which was great as the bubble that we were staying in was the furthest away and about a 15 minute walk to the main car park. Both the lady in reception and the golf buggy driver were really pleasant. The breakfast the next day was inclusive in our price and one of the nicest breakfasts i've had in a while and certainly one of the nicest in Ireland. I would 100% recommend the experience as me and my partner found it amazing. Thanks again Finn Lough for a great night away.

“Finn Lough Lodge” Stayed in one of the Finn Lough Lodges for two nights. The experience was incredible, the house is really modern and the views are BEAUTIFUL. The lake is just in front of the house so you actually eat with this gorgeous lake views. I enjoyed every second of my stay also thanks to the staff. Everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

“Brilliant” Setting aside the stunning natural area, the resort provides the perfect break from the busy day-to-day. Good variety of activities available. The staff is very professional and helpful, absolutely lovely. And sleeping in the lush bubbles is definitely a bucket-list worthy experience.
