Honeymoon Cottage is a luxury cottage situated in a heavenly location on Bettystown Beach just 25 minutes from Dublin Airport. The perfect base from which to explore the East Coast of Ireland.

Honeymoon Cottage is one of six delightful cottages, managed and run by the proprietors, offering a personal service and a family tradition dating back to 1908.

Honeymoon Cottage is the perfect setting for your romantic holiday in Ireland. This peaceful cottage is full of character and charm. The bright open-plan living area boasts a feature fireplace with a gas stove and a fully fitted farmhouse kitchen with an integrated electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and a breakfast bar.

Honeymoon Cottage offers a double bedroom with a luxury en-suite bathroom with a walk-in power shower, separate double bath, underfloor heating, a heated towel rail, and a hairdryer. Guests are also provided with slippers, bathrobes, and complimentary toiletries. Free WiFi access is also included, along with satellite TV.

The Cottages themselves date back over 300 years and have been professionally and lovingly restored to the highest standards to provide luxurious self catering accommodation for the most discerning traveller.

"Sheer bliss"
Excellent location, wonderful owners and a relaxing atmosphere. Lovely pubs, cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Breathtaking beach. Public transport to Dublin. Very friendly people around. Nothing more you could have expected.

"Stay-cation"
Beautiful cottages, very clean. Had everything needed for a self catering stay.Plenty of eateries nearby if preferred. Right on the beach with private access. Liz and Mel were very helpful and friendly.

A Little Piece Of Heaven
We have been repeat visitors to The Cottages for well over a decade now .... sometimes with family , sometimes as a couple. It is hard to convey the tranquillity and beauty of the facility until you have actually stayed there. The attention to detail is second to none. Roger and Liz are the perfect hosts and have a fantastic team headed by Mel to look after you. I know we will be returning again next year ... once you find something so perfect it is hard to stay away !

"The Shangri La of holiday cottages!"
Idyllic setting. Perfect get-away from COVID-19 stresses. A tranquil oasis at any time. As much beach as anyone wants to walk. Lovely gardens and staff available to help, if needed. Just nothing short of wonderful!

"The Cottages" Bettystown
How lucky were we to find "The Cottages", we have said to ourselves a few times since our week's stay in The Apple Loft Cottage. From the moment you enter the secure gates, you immediately feel welcomed, at home, switched off, and relaxed. Service just amazing, Liz and Mel just know how to ensure you have everything you need, but they never impose on you. The Cottages are just beautiful, all the original charm, but with all modern amenities, incl. great wifi. I think it is on purpose there are no clocks in the cottage, because you truly do feel time does not matter. Sit and read, walk directly on to the beach, meditate in the garden beach view chair, or just enjoy the sounds of the sea, its all amazing. A true gem here in Ireland, and cant wait to book up again, even for a long weekend. Thanks again Roger, Liz, and Mel.
