Wonderful cottages right on the Irish Sea. Warm scones and tea on arrival. Gorgeous and secure property. Close to bus stop for day trips to Dublin City-no need to drive. Matthews coaches 6 euro each way to Dublin city. Very comfortable. Clean. Highly recommended.
Easily the most relaxing break I've ever had. The cottages and grounds are more beautiful then we imagined, everything we needed was provided and more. The views from the Garden cottage are stunning, er sat at the window for hours just looking out. We wondered the beach, the local town and found some lovely restaurants and visited some nearby towns and historic sites. But mostly we just relaxed in out cottage. We were so sad to leave, everybody made us feel very welcome and spoilt. If you want a total escape, a retreat and a good night's sleep I couldn't recommend The Cottages highly enough. Thank you to Liz and Roger for having us stay in your little garden of Eden.
The cottages are just perfect, we spent 3 days in June and felt utterly relaxed and spoilt. welcome scones with cream and jam, the softest sheets, pristine gardens and right on the beach. Mel's welcome introduction too just made us feel like we were staying with friends. all the little details really added to our experience and we were so sad to leave. Already planning our next trip. little pricier than other places in the area but you soon see why when you stay there. worth every penny, you will not be disappointed
