Area
Located in County Meath, just a short drive west of the Irish capital of Dublin, you will find the commuter town of Dunboyne. Surrounded by Stirling to the south and Black Bull to the north, Dunboyne is best known for being the former site of Dunboyne Castle, as well as the home of men who partook in the Irish Rebellion of 1798. A short drive from the town will bring you to several noteworthy landmarks such as Castletown House in Celbridge and Larchill Arcadian Gardens in Rathganley, as well as Weston Airport. The town houses several convenience stores and supermarkets, including Nearby and Nally's SuperValu Dunboyne, along with a plethora of pubs and restaurants offering something for every palate, such as Mara Grill, Bojon Spices Indian Restaurant, Steakhouse Dunboyne, and La Bucca Dunboyne. For a full day out, the city of Dublin is easily-accessed by car, and home to a wealth of exciting things to do and see, whether that's a tour around the iconic Guinness Storehouse, a walk around the National Botanic Garden or the National Gallery of Ireland, or even a stroll along the battlements of the historic Dublin Castle.
