Lyrath Estate Weddings

From check in to check out our experience was top class . The staff made it for us in terms of customer care . Were were at my sons wedding on aug 9th and hands down the best wedding we’re were ever at . I would have no hesitation in recommending Lyrath to anybody . From grandparents to grandchildren everybody was looked after . A huge thank you to your wonderful staff

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary by staying at Lyrath Estate. We were warmly welcomed and stayed in a beautiful and comfortable dual aspect bedroom overlooking the garden and fields . . Staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent. Pool perfect temperature.
Lovely ambiance throughout.
Would happily return.

I always enjoy visiting Lyrath Hotel. Five star luxury here in Kilkenny. Staff are very helpful, and a selection of restaurants to choose from. There's never a shortage of car park space's. Lyrath seems to have something on all year round, and is an excellent choice for wedding's.

"Fabulous hotel"
Stayed at the Lyrath for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed our stay. Staff all very friendly while still adhering to Covid rules. Beautiful lobby area with a resident musician, a guy on guitar who was excellent. We ate in the Grill bar on one night and it was outstanding , both food and service. We had a problem with the air conditioning in the room which we reported and Gavin ( I think possibly Duty Manager) did everything to sort it, but when that wasn't possible moved us to another room, actually a Suite, which was fabulous. Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back and highly recommend to others.

"Anniversary trip"
Stayed with my husband for our wedding anniversary. Room was amazing, spotless clean and overlooking the garden. We had a fab balcony and we were lucky enough to have decent weather so we could sit with a cup of tea.

The food in bar was beautiful and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and were all covid compliant.

We got room service for lunch one of the days which was a little disappointing as the sandwiches didn't have very much on them in terms of fillings and was quite expensive. Still this was only a minor issue.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

"Wedding anniversary to remember"
A gem of a hotel in a fantastic city. Kilkenny has so many hotels to choose from but it’s the location, decor, setting and wonderful staff that set The Lyrath apart from the rest.

The hotel offers plenty of choice for dining and trust me you must try them all, the food was beautiful, from the succulent Mohawk steak in the Grill to the sweet scallops and beautifully cooked seafood in Yews make sure to visit both during your stay.

Our room was amazing and the maid service without a doubt excellent on all levels.

All staff from reception to the restaurants are an asset to your hotel and it is obvious they take great pride in their work.

"Fantastic Wedding Venue & Fantastic Night away venue"
We had an absolutely amazing 3 days for our wedding in Lyrath, it was the wedding of our dreams. We felt at home for those 3 days everything was just so enjoyable. The food was just absolute perfection, everyone was talking about it, from the canapés to the main Meal to the bbq the next day just unreal. We were so impressed with absolutely everything We enjoyed every single second of our time in Lyrath and so did our guests !All of the Staff, waiters & Managers were so helpful and professional, the location & setting is just simply amazing we couldn't have asked for anymore we would highly recommend if you are considering having your wedding in Lyrath you will not regret I =) We have also stayed here on three other different occasions last year and it was simply amazing....

Family Wedding
We attended a family wedding in this fabulous hotel at the weekend. It was such an amazing experience. The attention to detail was second to none. From checking in with the very friendly and most helpful staff, the bedrooms which were immaculate, the food and the fabulous wedding reception and the fantastic staff on duty for the breakfast especially Jojo who made everybody feel so welcome. The grounds and leisure centre was amazing. So worth the visit ....Would highly recommend...
