We love this majestic home, located in Southampton – it's designed for entertaining. You can lounge by the stunning, heated saltwater swimming pool and take a dip in the refreshing water when it gets too warm or unwind in the jacuzzi. Then, have a game on the brand new professional bocce court. When hunger strikes, head to the custom grilling area and have a tasty lunch, or create a gourmet meal in the stylish kitchen.

Later on, gather in the basement with its games room and play a game of pool or table foosball. There's a gym down here with an interactive Nordic Track treadmill and Hydrow rowing machine, as well as a big-screen TV and even a sauna. Or simply unwind with a glass of wine in the elegant, double-height living room.

This home backs onto a nature preserve with access to the Hamlet Footpath, a network of excellent, well-marked hiking and cycle trails (your host provides bikes). Or take the beach umbrella and toys down to North Sea Beach or Foster Memorial Town Beach, around seven and eleven minutes away, respectively.

*Due to the climate of the northeastern U.S., outdoor pools and attached hot tubs will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labour Day
