Looking for a base to explore Salcombe? This family and pet-friendly home is just the ticket. The topsy-turvy layout paves the way for enjoying gorgeous views of the estuary as you relax – and while the private terrace is on the smaller side, there's plenty of space to kick back and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the boats sail by. It's worth noting that there are a lot of stairs to climb here, so it won't be suitable for everyone. But otherwise, it's the perfect place to enjoy all that Salcombe has to offer.

Home truths:
*There is one private parking spot to use during your stay. Access is tight, so it's best for small cars.
*Your host can provide a travel cot and high chair for free here if you're travelling with little ones.
*Spread over three floors and with stairs inside and out, this home won't be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
*South Devon is known for patchy phone coverage, so you might find that the phone signal weakens from time to time.
*We think some areas of this home could do with a refresh. In particular, the bathroom floor tiles look a little tired.
*One hand towel and one bath towel are provided per person, so you may want to bring your own for longer stays.
