Endowed with panoramic views of the blue Aegean sea and the famous White Mountains, the vistas from this home stretch as far as Chania town and, notably the landmark of the renovated lighthouse at the old Venetian harbour. While away by the infinity pool, you take in the sublime setting with a drink in hand. You won't have to go far to stay hydrated, as the villa boasts its pool bar, with a fridge and stools that give the feeling of being in your private taverna.

The modern architectural design presents a space that harmonises with the surrounding landscape and garden. Keeping the kids entertained here couldn't be easier with a Mediterranean botanic garden (featuring a small river) and a children's playground. Did we mention there is also a private wellness centre that features a gym, sauna, steam bath and opportunity for an at-home massage in the villa too? Meaning the adults of the group can dedicate some well-deserved time to relaxation and leisure just as much as the children.

A separate studio space that sleeps two guests independently from the rest of the house (with space for an additional two people on the sofa bed) allows for privacy and practicality when travelling as a large group.

Admire the unforgettable sunsets from one of the many outdoor seating areas before making the most of the outdoor cooking area and serving up some locally caught fresh fish on the barbecue. Then, once your stomachs are filled, head over to the hidden cave – which has to be our favourite spot on the home. Presenting a cosy space to unwind with a bottle of wine and board games, you don't get to relax in unique settings like this one every day – and that's a fact.

Positioned just a ten-minute drive away from Chania Town, when you can bring yourselves to leave this sanctuary of paradise – an abundance of local restaurants, shops and bars await your discovery.
