Just outside Pollença, this old-world villa has character in spades – from exposed stone walls to timber-beamed ceilings. The traditional style won't appeal to everyone, and the open staircase isn't suitable for guests with limited mobility, but we think it's rather charming. And the main bedroom is a highlight, with its en-suite bathroom and enclosed balcony ideal for unwinding away from the group. That said, the garden is where you'll likely spend most of your downtime. Dotted with lemon, fig, and olive trees, there's a private pool, a covered terrace and lots of space for little ones to let loose. Even better is the location, with sandy beaches like Port de Pollença and Cala San Vicenç only a ten-minute drive away.
Home truths: *This home is spread across two levels. One of the staircases lacks a bannister or handrail, so caution must be taken with children and guests who struggle with stairs. However, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here.
*We highly suggest renting a car in this location. There's private parking on the paved driveway.
*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts, particularly the bathrooms.
*You won't find a desk here, but the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
*The swimming pool may only be open from April to October – please check with your host for the exact dates. It also isn't fenced, so if you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised.
