It might be poolside, so you’re able to sunbathe whilst catching up on a podcast, or maybe it’s propped up against a sturdy trunk where you can read in the shade of the tree. Drink wine at sunset from the comfortable terrace furniture or slip away when you need a moment to yourself to enjoy a cup of coffee at the smaller bistro table – we suggest getting up before dawn to watch the sun break on the horizon.

With the coveted beach only minutes away, you can spend entire days in the surf, or drive to Palermo to explore all the ancient city has to offer. See the cathedral, visit the street markets, and sit down for a meal at one of the local eateries. When you return home, unwind in the contemporary comfort of the villa, surrounded by some of the most beautiful heirlooms passed along to the owner who is from one of the oldest aristocratic families in Sicily.

Split between the main house, a cottage and an annex, this home is ideal for three families travelling together. Everyone gets to enjoy their private space, knowing that they can come together as a group right outside. During the day, you can admire the views whilst you're out on the terrace, socialising with a glass of wine, but don’t forget a nightcap, so you’re able to fully appreciate the sky at night.
