While away your days here floating under cloudless skies in the infinity pool, sharing a bottle of Sicilian wine on the outdoor sofa and digging into an alfresco bowl of pasta con le sarde in the summer kitchen.

Inside is as serene as the scenery on your doorstep, with a pared-back design, crisp white walls and high ceilings all invoking an instantaneous feeling of rest and relaxation. All the mod-cons are accounted for, too – be it rainfall showers in the stylish bathrooms, soft sheets in the bedrooms and all the cookware and crockery you'll need.

For day trips, hop in the car and visit the breathtaking Duomo di San Giorgio in Modica (a twenty-four-minute drive away) or take a dip in the ocean at Santa Maria del Focallo Beach (twenty-two minutes by car).
