Area Greetham village is situated within the county of Rutland, close to the historic town of Oakham and Rutland Water, a man-made nature reserve hosting many outdoors activities and watersports. The village offers two pubs, a village shop and Greetham Valley Golf Club, which boasts two championship standard 18-hole golf courses. Nearby Oakham has a good range of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as a museum of local history, a 12th century castle and a 14th century church.
