Stroll through the olive groves, admire the flower gardens, and find hidden spots where you can look out across the bright blue water. When the temperature rises, you can plunge into the swimming pool, or wander down the steps to the nearby pebble beach for a dip. And, at dinner time, you can cook up your favourite dishes using local olive oil and produce from the vegetable patch – or, ask your host to organise a private chef to do the hard work for you.

You could easily spend an eternity in this lavish complex, but if you want to explore the island then there's plenty to do nearby. The picture-perfect town of Karlovasi is only 3km away, where you can browse the market stalls and dine at delicious seafood restaurants. Beach fans can take a road trip around the coast, to explore the very best hidden coves with crystal clear waters. And, if you head inland, there are some stunning hiking trails to enjoy, along with rustic villages and hilltop churches to discover.
