Lofted Box oozes that classic Brooklyn aesthetic with exposed iron beams and repurposed furnishings. This lofted apartment even has its own private terrace, and even though the view isn’t one for the ages, the fresh air is a welcome addition. It’s actually part of a boutique hotel, so while it doesn’t feel like someone’s home, there are the services to make up for it – for example, a shuttle that’ll take you anywhere within a mile radius, for free!

*The bedroom is up a flight of stairs, so may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues

*Even though this home is a little further out, it takes less than thirty minutes (door to door) to get into Lower Manhattan

*You're a bit of a walk to the nearest public transport

*It's possible to accommodate two more guests on the sofa bed in the living room
