Between Estrela and the river in Lisbon, you'll find this home's location, the Lapa district. It's a peaceful residential area with some charming attractions, such as the Basilica da Estrela and the neoclassical Assembleia da República. Or head to the nearby Museu da Marioneta, a museum of Portuguese puppetry housed in the Convent of Bernardas. There are plenty of eateries to enjoy in the locale too.

Or head back to this stylish home and cook up some Piri Piri chicken. Then relax on the small balcony with a glass of wine. The living space, with its multiple windows, is bathed in light. We particularly love the main bedroom with its original shutters and French doors that open onto a Juliet balcony.
