Those that enjoy a spot of surfing, strolling the soft sand or paddling in the Atlantic Ocean will be glad to hear it’s just a five-minute wall from Matosinhos Beach. Then there are the beachfront cafés and restaurants to refuel and Matosinhos Sul metro station (a three-minute walk) which can have you in the heart of Porto in around forty minutes.

Whitewashed walls and pops of teal and blue create a beachy feel inside. In the open living area, a sleek white kitchen, plush sofa and velvet footstools sit beneath the slanted, wooden ceiling. It’s cosy loft living with an undeniable touch of style. Peering out the window, you can catch a glimpse of the ocean, a reminder of how close you are to the beach.
