In the morning, wake yourself up with a fresh cup of coffee on the terrace, then wander down to the River Perry for a quick dip in the natural plunge pool before jumping in the car and heading into Shrewsbury for a day of sightseeing. From walled gardens to ancient castles, there’s plenty to discover here but we wouldn’t blame you if you spent all afternoon at one of the town's cosy pubs, sipping a cold pint and watching the world go by.
