Set less than one hundred metres from the town's pedestrianised hub with bustling restaurants and bars, it's easy to see why. The apartment's small balcony and beautifully restored period features are a nice touch. It's worth noting the kitchenette is compact and better suited to breakfasts and light bites. However, there are no compromises to make in the bathroom with a large chronotherapy shower – perfect for cooling off after days exploring Puglia's nearby coast.

*This is a studio apartment, with no door separating the sleeping space from the rest of the home.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
