(Exclusive) Superstar actor Sir Anthony Hopkins proved this week that Ireland is the perfect celebrity hiding place as he jetted out of Dublin having spent several weeks here on a private visit under the radar, undisturbed by the worlds media.
He tweeted Easter messages to his 834,000 followers, saying that he was away from his LA base 'across the pond' and was pictured swimming in his infinity pool in the sunshine at one of Ireland's most stunning 5-star coastal properties before heading to the UK this week.
Enjoying the full luxury experience and discretion from the Five Star concierge team, the famed Oscar-winning actor, artist, composer and humanitarian travelled with his Columbian-born wife actress and producer Stella Hopkins and niece Tara Arroyave.
Hollywood legend Hopkins is big news right now as one of the biggest names nominated for a prestigious BAFTA this weekend. The 74th annual British Academy Film Awards will take place with shows on both Saturday, April 10th and Sunday, April 11th and the actor is nominated for Best Actor for his performance in much anticipated new drama from Florian Zeller's The Father, in which he portrays a man slipping into dementia. The film is nominated for a host of other awards and is tipped for the top this season.
Sir Anthony and Lady Stella recently launched their own perfume line AH Eau de Parfum, to support the charity No Kid Hungry and are known for their humanitarian work in recent years. Stella Hopkins made her directorial debut drama Elyse in 2020.
The busy couple enjoyed their much-needed downtime in stunning weather at one of the finest and most lavish light-filled contemporary luxury rentals in the Five Star portfolio, where they had panoramic views from the six-bedroomed residence across the and enjoyed the gym, swimming pool and private expansive gardens.
