Ireland is on course to be the fastest growing European economy in 2015, for the second year running. Voted by Forbes as one of the best places in the world to do business, Ireland continues to lead the way in terms of international investment.

Rapidly emerging as the online capital of Europe; the top ten global internet-based companies are now located on the Emerald Isle.

While growth in the IT sector has been phenomenal, it is far from an overnight sensation; Microsoft and Intel are operating in Ireland for 25 years, while Google celebrated its 10th Irish anniversary in 2013. Joined by the likes of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, Ireland continues to attract key players from the world of Search, Social, Games, E-Commerce, Online Payments and Marketing.

While Ireland has a world-renowned multinational sector, indigenous start-ups are also thriving in areas such as Enterprise, SaaS, Social Media, E-Commerce, Mobile, Education, Financial, Health, Music and Game technology.

Due to a strong multinational presence in Ireland, there is a wealth of experience in specialised, high-value sectors and international market management. Every major venture capital firm now has a portfolio of companies in Dublin.

In addition to the low corporate tax rate, (12.5%), advanced telecommunications and transport infrastructures; both start-ups and multi-nationals are increasingly drawn to Ireland by the deep pool of talent, which is one of the hardest resources to find.

With the youngest population in Europe, (40% under 29 years old), Ireland's education system consistently ranks in the top 1% worldwide.
