With Ireland soon to be the only English-speaking capital in Europe post-Brexit, high-flyers from home and abroad are seeking out luxury pads around Dublin and willing to pay up to €20,000 a month.

This quiet, low key world of top executive rentals which includes premium properties in the technology and finance hub of the docklands, the exclusive and leafy Dublin enclaves of Dublin 2, Dublin 4, Dublin 6 and the coastal villages of Dalkey and Killiney and in to Wicklow, the spotlight is on this area more than ever before.

From cool penthouse lofts to urban high-spec gated luxury and rural retreats there is a wealth of high-end properties currently enjoying big international interest right now and companies from aircraft leasing to pharmaceuticals are regarding Ireland as an ideal base from which to do business.

After two years of uncertainty over Brexit, companies and executives are now moving and starting to choose Ireland as a base. In an interview with Celine Naughton for Independent.ie, Joe Gavin of Five Star International showcases one such property, Luxury Lodge, Tinakilly, Co. Wicklow which is only 45 minutes from Dublin city but is one of Ireland's most alluring homes by the sea with 6,000 square feet of elegant living.

"Our traffic has doubled in the last six months", states Joe. "While we must maintain discretion around our client base, we work with finance companies and private equity firms with big budgets who want the best for their senior executives while setting up offices in Dublin".
