Sometimes it Takes a Woman ...

Dubbed USA's 'Iron Lady' with comparisons to the late Margaret Thatcher, who she admits she's a massive fan of, can Nikki Halley do what others have tried and failed to do?

Statesiders are speculating, and the fever is mounting. With her traditional blasting out of the 'Eye of the Tiger' soundtrack, the former first female South Carolina Governor and US Ambassador to the United Nations had an extra spring to her step this week.

The reason? She has gone from 2% to over 43% thanks to New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu endorsing her as his favoured 2024 Republican in the recent New Hampshire clash.

Since launching her 2024 Presidential Campaign in February, support for Haley has been staedily increasing. She's now coming across as a more trustworthy, energetic and enthusiastic alternative to Trump. The statistics clearly show she is the Republican's best bet to defeat Biden, but can they figure that out?

Getting there now is a numbers game. Can this American politician and diplomat do it?
