It's official. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are back and better than ever. After months of searching, the word's out that they've found their 'forever home' - a gigantic $50m Bel-Air, Los Angeles mansion spanning more than 20,000 square feet.
Known as 'The Bellagio Estate", the property stands on 1.1 acres of land with golf course views and 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms and is dubbed "the ultimate retreat" with an infinity pool, staff quarters and pocket gardens throughout.
Back in 2003, they were the big story. But with a called-off engagement citing excessive media attention, Lopez went on to have two children with now ex-husband Marc Anthony and Affleck share three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Nearly 20 years after their romance took the world by storm, they're now back and have spent months searching for a base for their blended family and, according to rumours, are "open to the idea of an engagement".
The two met originally on the set of Gigli, and while their relationship sizzled, the movie sank at the box office. Engaged following Ben's proposal with a 6-carat pink diamond ring, they then filmed a second movie together, Jersey Girl, before announcing their break up in January 2004. As Jen puts their timeline ", I think different time, different thing, who knows what could've happened but there was a genuine love there" In July 2021, Lopez's 52nd birthday, the couple went to France, arriving in Nice by private plane and holidaying off a yacht in Monaco, letting the world know that Bennifer was back.
The Good Will Hunting star and his co-creator Matt Damon often talk about their love of Ireland, and Ben and Jen chose the Venice International Film Festival premiere of Affleck's movie 'The Last Duel' filmed in Ireland to make their first red carpet appearance together as a reunited couple. They were also on the red carpet for her latest movie, "Marry Me". Sources have said that the exes "always loved each other," and Jen is now saying she's "never been better" and it's "the best time of my life".
But this time around, it's different: As Jen puts it: "I think what we learned from the last time is that love, when you are lucky enough to find it, is so sacred and special, and you have to hold a little bit of that privately, and that's what we've learned.
