The world is experiencing an unprecedented surge in travel as the industry rebounds from the pandemic, and American Airlines is expanding Ireland connections with direct daily flights from Dublin Airport to Charlotte, Dallas, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

Welcoming the news, Dalton Philips, Chief Executive Officer of DAA, operator of Dublin Airport, said: "It is great to see the expansion of American Airlines. In Ireland, we enjoy deep connections with the United States, so this new expansion of connectivity is great news for business and leisure passengers.

Charlotte, Dallas, Chicago, and Philadelphia are among 180 destinations that Dublin Airport will serve worldwide this year to rebuild its global reach in partnership with 44 airlines.
