"Tremendous - what wonderful customer service"
We had been recommended Delphi Lodge and so booked for 4 nights and stayed there last week. There are many places that claim to be customer focussed and this is one that really lives up to the claim. The room we stayed in was wonderful, large and very comfortable with a lovely view. However we had some special requests for one of our party and the staff really took our needs on board and went out of their way to provide everything we needed. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Breathtaking surroundings with wonderful food and service
We had the pleasure of staying at Delphi Lodge on our first visit to Ireland. After observing the breathtaking scenery and lodge, we were enthusiastically greeted by Michael. Michael made every moment of our visit perfect. The evening meals are a must. The food was fantastic and we made wonderful new friends. We will definitely return here.

"Incredibly beautiful country house stay"
I stayed for a single night on my way home from a trip to the west of Ireland. The welcome was warm and relaxed and our room was beautiful with a lovely view from the side of the house onto the Lough. This is like being welcomed to a friends home for the weekend rather than a stay at a conventional hotel ( which this is not, this fact making it all the more beautiful). A walk in the rain before dinner which is shared with the other guests around the dining table after a pre dinner drink in the drawing room. There is no host at the head of the table so conversation flows encouraged by curiosity as to who may be sitting beside you. My son is 12 and we were able to tailor which course he had and which he missed ( he ate everything as it was delicious!). Breakfast is a similar affair with a small buffet selection ( fresh croissants, cereals, juices etc) and a cooked breakfast. I had the delicious smoked salmon which you can buy and take with you when you leave. This lodge with a strong focus on fishing is warm and welcoming to all its travellers, with interesting history detailed in its in room folder. Wether you plan to explore the area or read by the fire in the library, fly fish or discover local history this is a true remarkable place to stay and we will be back!

"Mid week break"
Our stay at Delphi Lodge was one of our more memorable experiences. The Lodge has excellent facilities, the company was stimulating and lively consisting of Dutch, Belgians, French and Irish. The host for the evening, the manager Michael was charming and gracious and lots of fun. A stay at this old and beautiful country house is highly recommended. We look forward to returning some time.
Thanks to one and all

"The most delightful place I've ever had the privilege of lodging!"
I had the pleasure of spending a week at Delphi Lodge with a group of friends/family. Our group took up the entire Lodge, so it did feel a bit like our manor house. And what a manor house! The natural beauty of the location, the comfort of the Lodge, the incomparable hospitality of Michael and his staff were all outstanding. An evening of traditional music, a day outing on the Killary Fjord for fishing, mussel harvesting (and eating); another day for hiking to a famine cottage and to observe working sheep dogs. Then lots of days for walking, surfing, pubbing, reading, napping, etc. The library of the Lodge is filled with good books; the gardens are lush; the Chef produces outstanding cuisine with mostly local products (and seamlessly catered to various dietary requirements). Surely wish I thought I would get back Delphi Lodge sometime soon!
