A group of my friends and I rented out Avalon and Lagan combined for the first weekend in Feb 2023. I have to say that Michael was wonderful and kind, and helpful and accommodating straight away. And so was everyone else we came into contact with. The houses are spectacular, gorgeous and every room is fitted out perfectly. The location is beyond beautiful with the beach so close and the Mayo scenery. I would recommend it to anyone and we were looking forward to coming back before we even left!

We rented both properties (Lagan & Old Beach Head) for a large family gathering. Photos & Description do not do these properties justice. Even on a wet day, the views in every direction are outstanding & the properties are furnished impeccably & lack no mod con you might need. The properties are secluded but so close to the beach, an idyllic location. Drive 10 min - Westport & 5 min - Louisburgh. The host, Michael & co are the most genuine & helpful people. Highly Recommend these properties.

"Fantastic house and hospitality"
Fantastic time in Lagan House. Michael was extremely accommodating with a last minute booking. The house was excellent and right beside the beech. The level of quality in the house was amazing from coffee machine, to speakers and TVs. It was a great time and highly recommend. 15 minutes from Westport and at the foothills of Croagh Patrick and on the beech - couldn't ask for more (not to mention the views!).

"Lovely Lagan"
We had our family group stay at Lagan House for a week to ring in the New year, from the moment we arrived we were blown away from the amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean to the stunning Lagan House. The House is beautiful and has every luxury and amenity you could want, the large projector screen was used nearly every night to watch movies on sky, and Alexa was kept going playing everyone's favourite tunes, the rooms are beautiful and the kitchen is superb. Michael the owner is a real gentleman and Eamon the caretaker is at hand day or night for your questions or any problems that might occur. We have stayed at a lot of holiday homes around Ireland and have to say that Lagan is the best by far, and when the owner and caretaker are so nice and accommodating it adds to the experience. So thank you Michael for such a lovely break and we will definitely be back soon. Lots of love from the New Year's Bash Gang from Kildare and UK.

"Beautiful Lagan"
I've just returned from a week visiting Co Mayo, my Mum's home county, with all my family and we stayed in Lagan. The house is lovely, so clean and comfortable. We decided to go for a bit of luxury on this holiday and Lagan didn't disappoint! Beautiful bathrooms, amazing comfy beds, big screen projector TV, Sky TV, WI-FI, coffee machine - all totally amazing. Not to mention the views of Crough Patrick and the mountains and the sea with beautiful Old Head beach just a stone's throw away. Michael and his team can't do enough for you and are very approachable and helpful. Thanks Michael we'll never forget our amazing week in Mayo, staying at Lagan.

"Excellent place!"
We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Lagan house. The house is beautiful and in a super location. We had excellent weather so the proximity to the beach made the holiday. We have been renting houses in the West and South of Ireland for the last 15 years and we all agreed this was the best house! We had kayak boats and the kids were in the sea most of the time. It was also great that we could all do paddle boarding at the other end of the beach. It was such a lovely gesture to get a call with freshly baked bread.....much appreciated
