We had a ball over the June bank holiday weekend at Ashford Castle. They had only reopened following COVID closures but all of the protocols, sanitising etc made us feel very safe without impacting on our enjoyment.The food and wine were faultless, the spa was excellent, paddle boarding with Sophie was a highlight. It was my birthday and the friendly staff made it so special. Would highly recommend

Experience of a lifetime. The views, service, rooms, falcon walk, horseback riding, golfing, food, drinks, gardens, art... all amazing. The spa is top notch, best I’ve ever been to! Loved the walk to the village nearby, and picked up a beautiful painting at the local gallery.

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the history, the ambiance, the staff, the horse ride, the private wine tasting and spa. There was nothing left to be desired, we were treated like royalty.

"Feel like Royalty with Ashford Castle"
As soon as you walk through the doors of Ashford Castle you feel welcome and pampered. AMAZING experience - from the comfy room, to the friendly staff, to the beautiful spa, to the delicious restaurants. Highly recommend tea team. Everything was perfect and our favorite place in Ireland!

"Amazing experience"
My family and I had the most wonderful time staying here. Everything exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived we felt like royalty. Everyone we met was so polite and friendly. Our room was huge and so nicely decorated. Everything we did was perfect. From the hawk walk to the spa to the dining facilities we couldn't get over how amazing it all was. This was our first time in Ireland and Ashford made it feel so special. One of the best trips I've ever had. Hope to return again soon.

Top notch services and feels like a queen for a day no wonder they are the top hotel needs to visit in Ireland it's pricey but the memories and experienced matter most. I liked and enjoyed the luxury spa treatment and the amenities of it especially the Pool, Sauna, Relaxation room and the food was delicious and well presented. Thanks for all the staff for for making my staying unforgettable.

"Pure Luxury"
Have had the privilege to stay twice at Ashford and both times were fantastic. Service is impeccable. THE best breakfast dining I have ever experienced. The cooked ham is a triumph. Nothing is too much trouble for staff who treat their guests like family. Special mention to Robert Bowe in the restaurant who ensures your dining experience is comparable to none! Hugely knowledgable on wines.

Over the course of both stays we availed of the dining in the George V Restaurant and we experienced the afternoon tea. Both experienced the best I have ever availed of.

We also did the horse riding with the children on one stay and it is a lovely way to see the grounds. Spa was a wonderful escape and only wish I spent more time there.

Best luxury experience in Ireland BAR NONE.

"Fantastic service, best Birthday celebration ever"
Just spent a wonderful Gourmet weekend at the Castle for my husbands 50th. Food was wonderful in both The Dungeon & George V restaurants. Rooms are very comfortable and had the best sleep in the softest bed ever. Spa - great treatments, thoroughly relaxing body scrub & facial. Boat tour on the Saturday was really interesting albeit a little drizzly, but can't have everything. The staff made a huge effort for my husbands birthday, leaving chocolates/card & special pillow for him. Could not recommend this enough.
