Royal Crescent

"Luxury and nothing less"
It was the venue for our daughter's wedding breakfast. The hotel is in a significant section of the world famous Royal Crescent and has to be one of the finest hotels in the UK. The food was wonderful and the service the best ever.

"As excellent as we remembered"
Our second time at The Royal Crescent with a fair few years in between. Just as much of a joy as the first time. We were staying in part of Baths history for our Wedding Anniversary in May, the food is fantastic, the gardens, hotel interior and spa wonderful but the best part were the staff. Attentive to just he the right level and so welcoming and friendly they make you (I suspect all of their guests) feel special. We will make sure we won't take as long to go back next time.

“Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel in a great location”
My husband booked us in to the Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa for our wedding anniversary. It was a surprise, so I was blown away at first sight of the Royal Crescent!

As soon as we had parked, the concierge popped out to help us and valet parked our car. The staff were amazingly warm and friendly, and were extremely attentive throughout our stay. The lady from the front desk gave us a guided tour of the grounds and showed us to The Montagu bar restaurant where we had reserved a table for lunch.

My husband had the fish and chips, and I had the burger – both were delicious and well presented. The bar and restaurant area was light and airy, and had a stunning view of the gardens. The husband said he felt relaxed within half an hour of our arrival.

We were also upgraded at no extra cost to the Jane Austen room – it was soooo beautiful. There was a lounge adjoining the room which was situated in a conservatory overlooking the hotel’s lovely gardens.

Breakfast was first rate – you can have a cooked breakfast and also help yourself to a continental breakfast. The sausages were to die for!

We had a couple’s massage the next day and the therapists were both very good. We didn’t use the spa and gym facilities which were included in the price of the stay, but they looked very nice and well-kept when we had a quick look around.

The hotel was well situated and only about a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre, and about 5 minutes away from Royal Victoria park.

We really enjoyed our stay here and it was made all the better by the staff who made us feel very welcome. We would definitely come here again!

"Wedding at Christmas"
My son and his fiancée decided on the Royal Crescent Hotel at Christmas for their wedding. A small and intimate affair the service and attention to detail was outstanding. The ceremony was stunning, the Christmas decorations added to the vibe, the food was fantastic and the surroundings second to none.
