I attended a wedding here and it was such a dream! If I wasn’t already married I’d want to get married here. So lovely, excellent food and service! Really stunning setting and the ceremony was held at the moon garden which was honestly just spectacular setting!

I attended a wedding here recently (11-07-2024) and it was outstanding. As a local, I've been to the Orangery many times for lunch but this was the first time here for a wedding. Food was outstanding, and plenty of it. The MC was good fun too! Everything was just wonderful and I'd highly recommend it. Appreciated everything about it. The house is beautiful and the marquee is wonderful. It's great to see a local Limavady business doing things so well and prospering! Highly recommended!

Book it, just book it. You should have no doubt in your mind that Drenagh is the perfect venue with the most wonderful team who will work tirelessly behind the scenes to make your day effortless and perfect. We booked the house for a whole weekend of pre-events and the actual wedding and they executed every detail perfectly, treated the guests professionally and made me a calm and happy bride that could actually be present and enjoy the moment. Don't hesitate! Book Drenagh! Special shout out to Aga the housekeeper and to Joanna who replied to every email within seconds. And the FOOD! OMG the food was EVERYTHING! They even prepared traditional South African dishes for our pre-wedding BBQ and we just loved how accommodating and invested the team were in making our experience unforgettable! Love you guys!

Drenagh Estate is a gorgeous setting for a wedding. I love photographing weddings here! The House is amazing both inside and outside, offering you lots of photo opportunities. The landscaped gardens beside the marquee & orangery are gorgeous for sunset photos. Best of all, you will receive amazing service from the Drenagh team throughout your day. I'd highly recommend Drenagh for a wedding!

We recently celebrated the wedding of our son and daughter in law. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. The staff were exceptional and covered every detail you could possibly think about. The food was outstanding and served hot . All the guests said it was the best venue they have been to. The setting of the moon garden for a wedding was stunning . This has to be the best wedding venue .

I attended a wedding in June .The venue and food was lovely .However , we booked the cottage for four people .The self catering cottage itself is quaint but was not cleaned .The toilet leaked and the bath was very grubby with hair in it from previous guests. The rim of the fridge was brown , obviously not cleaned in a long time .There was two bath robes provided for four guests .The bed was comfortable and the bedclothes looked clean .Our continental breakfast was non existing .We got what looked like left over hot food from the main house .Was so disappointed as it was not cheap at £300 for 1 night .

Absolutely fabulous day at our daughter's weddkng last weekend.
The attention to detail from the planning stage to the breakfast on the morning we left was superb. The 'wedding breakfast' was fabulous & guests were very complimentary of it & how staff were so attentive & knew exactly what & how to do it!!
All staff were so caring & hospitable - nothing was too much bother for any of them.

Excellent wedding venue with an outstanding setting. Food excellent and staff superb especially Ellen who looked after us all day and evening. The main house is beautiful and marquee is next to nothing.

This review comes from a couple who were very sure of what they didn’t want- (a hotel wedding!), but who struggled to find a venue that ticked all their boxes. We visited 10+ venues all over Ireland and take it from us; if you are looking for a uniquely picturesque venue, with the WOW factor as soon as you drive in, the most amazing food &drink, and above all else the best wedding team you could ever dream of then Drenagh House Estate is the only venue you need to consider.

The moment we drove into the estate grounds and approached Drenagh House we both got such a special feeling. If you have ever been to a wedding in Drenagh, I am sure you know what we mean! The house itself is beautifully restored and still has all the original character which makes it even more special. The grounds and gardens are just breath taking and perfect for all those special pictures. There are even some peacocks roaming the grounds, which if you are lucky enough to see, are great for photos on your special day. The moon garden is truly magical for your ceremony and has the added benefit that your guests don’t need to move locations! The marquee in the walled garden is beautifully decorated and all the details Drenagh provide are to the highest standard.

The food throughout the whole day was honestly, in our opinion, better than any top-quality restaurant. The canapes were to die for, including some beautiful sweet treats for all our guests in the afternoon. The evening meal was by far, the best food our guests had experienced at any wedding. Even weeks after our special day we still have guests boasting about how incredible they thought the food was. It didn’t stop there either, Drenagh also provided an evening supper later that night, which was delicious too!

In our opinion on top of the most beautiful venue and best food the part that really does set Drenagh apart from any other venue is their amazing team. The whole team from Hannah & Gayle (our amazingly talented wedding planners), to Chris (the Manager, who knows every single tiny detail of how to elevate your day), to Trevor and Gareth (the Estate Managers, who go above and beyond with every detail and who making your guests feel so welcome) To Marcin (The most stylish & attentive Bar Manager!!) and all the amazing bar staff. Not to forget the one and only Brian (your personal MC & practically 5th bridesmaid- A huge hit with all our guests, he is a true GEM!!! He really does go above and beyond in every way!). We cannot put into words how truly talented the entire team are, they literally become your little Drenagh Family. It is very easy to see they truly love what they do and will go over and above to make your day truly special and memorable.

Not to dwell on the fact that our wedding was in September 2020, in the middle of the COVID 19 pandemic. Whilst organising a wedding in normal circumstances can be stressful enough for any couple, having a global pandemic to take into account added an extra layer of complexity for us. However, that being said, the one major advantage we had on our side was the team at Drenagh. We honestly could not have coped in planning our wedding without each and everyone of them and their constant reassurance once a new regulation came out. They were there every step of the way, at the end of the phone and always reassuring us they would help us come up with a plan no matter what happened. They helped us plan and have the most memorable COVID safe wedding and it was better than we had ever dreamed off. With their COVID regulations all our guests felt comfortable and safe with plenty of room to safely socially distance. The Drenagh team did everything they could to make our guests feel not only as safe as possible, with regular hand sanitising stations, but also made them as comfortable as possible. Drenagh Estate is truly a versatile venue in itself with the vast estate grounds and spacious marquee which permitted us to have our Covid Safe wedding.

In a nutshell we cannot put into words how much we recommend Drenagh. We were truly blown away by their service, attention to detail and how each and every single member of staff went totally above and beyond to make our day truly unforgettable. Thank you for the best day of our lives!

"Stunning venue. Amazing staff. Perfect day'
We got married in March at the beautiful Drenagh Country Estate and had the most perfect day. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning and it was love at first sight for us. From the moment we booked our date, we knew we were in great hands. Hannah and Gayle were always able to help with any query we had in the planning process and nothing was ever a problem for them. We were blown away with how well looked after we and our guests were on our wedding day. Chris, Geraldine, Hannah, Brian, Marcin and Trevor - thank you so much for such a warm welcome. Our guests all commented on how helpful you all were. To top everything off the meal was absolutely delicious, thoroughly enjoyed by all!! Having our closest family and friends able to stay the night was amazing, and Marcin looked after us all well into the wee hours!!

We honestly could not have asked for more from this gorgeous venue and amazing staff.

Feel ashamed we have not review Drenagh before now, wedding was back in August 16th 2019.
The setting is amazing, the staff just wonderful especially Brian and Trevor.
Everything was perfect. gardens. bedrooms. service and food all excellent.
