“Treatment fit for a king and a queen! This is exactly how my husband, Joe and I felt about our entire experience at Castle Leslie, from the signing of our contract to our magical wedding day! From the very beginning, we knew that our big day would be something special thanks to the staff at Castle Leslie. Karen in bookings was absolutely wonderful to work with, and was especially helpful since we live in NYC and had to coordinate early morning phone calls. Her kindness and patience made signing our contract hassle free and all the more memorable.
After the contract was signed, we met our event coordinator, Helen who was an absolute dream –no exaggeration there! Helen was organized, professional, and always went the extra mile to help in any way! She patiently answered all of our questions, collaborated with our wedding coordinator, and even made sure we got to attend our menu tasting when we visited my husband’s parents at Christmastime! The days before the wedding, the ladies at the spa were kind and courteous, adding to the pampering that we had already felt from everyone we had met so far. On our big day, Jonathan was nothing short of incredible! From bringing Joe endless made to order mojitos to wiping mud off of my sparkly heels, he really went above and beyond to make us feel like we were royalty! From start to finish, the entire Castle Leslie staff out did themselves, surpassing anything Joe and I had expected! We plan on returning to the estate next summer to celebrate our one year anniversary, and we can’t wait to see everyone again!”

“I just want to drop you a line to say a huge thank you. Our wedding day was flawless and J and I were so overcome with how impeccable the service and venue was. I am actually welling up now thinking about how amazing Castle Leslie made our wedding day. Kevin, Jonathan (OMG everyone in the world should have a Jonathan in their life – I am speechless at how special he made us feel – he was born to do that job) and Geraldine to name but a few, made everything so very special for us. I’m devastated that it’s over as we had the best night of our lives (apart from the birth of our boys of course). We were really made to feel like it was the only wedding Castle Leslie had ever done and we were so personally special to you. Everybody was blown away with how spectacular the whole two days were and are still talking about it now. J and I have been to so many weddings and honestly this was the best wedding we’ve ever been to – and so many others said the same thing. We’re still in shock at how well everything turned out and that absolutely nothing was in any way wrong because we don’t feel like we had very much to do with the preparation and that most of it was done for us by you and the staff at Castle Leslie. We can’t thank you enough. We will hold a very special place in our hearts for Castle Leslie for the rest of our lives and hopefully we’ll be fortunate enough to hold another event there for another special occasion that may come along”.

"Fabulous treat"
We stayed in the West Wing in the Castle to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was a truly memorable experience. The suite is outstanding! Afternoon tea was wonderful, our massages were wonderful and we thoroughly every minute of our stay. It's certainly not a cheap stay, but if you have reason to treat yourselves I would thoroughly recommend it!

“We don’t even know where to begin. From the moment we first visited Castle Leslie long before our engagement we knew it was a special place so once we were engaged we headed straight to the Estate to view it as a potential venue. The sales team on the estate are excellent, particularly our contact Louise. We were shown around and walked through what the Estate had to offer for our Wedding Day. At no point did we feel under pressure and returned for a second visit with our parents before we committed. They were extremely flexible in tailoring the day to us and what was important to us. Truth is we went to see two other venues but nowhere else came anywhere near how fabulous Caste Leslie Estate is. If you have stayed on the Estate before you will know how friendly, welcoming and accommodating everyone is on the Estate and we knew this would be no different when planning our wedding. The date was set and we were introduced to our coordinator Joan who was incredible throughout. Joan was impressively responsive, professional and the quality of service was exceptional over the 18 months. Joan made our wedding planning journey stress free and enjoyable. Joan facilitated all the little extras we wanted and offered great advice and had thought of all the things we hadn’t. We cannot thank her enough. The reservations team were excellent and assisted us greatly with managing our room allocation. This was probably the most difficult aspect of the planning and the reservations team really helped us manage this as smoothly as possible. The Castle and the Estate are out of this world beautiful. Each of the rooms in the Castle are unique. All of our guests were blown away by the accommodation on offer be it in the Castle, the lodge, old stable mews or village cottages. There is also ample accommodation in the surrounding areas so any guests staying off site did not have far to travel. The grounds are stunning and offer a beautiful backdrop for photographs but don’t worry if it rains like it did for u,s we got beautiful shots inside. As everyone warned us time flew and before we knew it the day had arrived. From the second we pulled up outside the Castle we were treated like royalty. Master of Ceremonies Paul was on hand all day, he truly was like having a 6th bridesmaid and 5th groomsman. His professionalism and expertise ensured the day ran like clockwork. It might sound strange but we worried we would be stressed and anxious and wouldn’t enjoy the day but oh my god did we have the most amazing day. Nothing was too much for Paul and the team at the Castle. We enjoyed every second of it and we really think that was all down to the team at Castle Leslie Estate. They are true professionals at what they do. The team made sure we remembered to eat during the drinks reception and also ensured we got to take a few moments out together to take it all in. It rained for most of the day so we had all our family photos inside, but with a break in weather just as we were set to sit for dinner Paul encouraged us to go outside and get the photos we really wanted. Our guests were well looked after as they patiently waited. We are so delighted we followed his advice. The food was incredible, from the canapes, the meal and the afters food, we got so many compliments,”Best food at a wedding ever”. We worried given our big numbers there wouldn’t be enough canapes etc… but our guests couldn’t get over how generous the food was. The level of service we and our guests received on the day was more than we could have expected, it was truly the best day of our lives and there isn’t a thank you big enough for Castle Leslie Estate and their amazing team. Our only regret is that it’s all over! We would do it all over again and would not hesitate to recommend Castle Leslie Estate. We may be biased but it was the Best Wedding EVER!!”

"Perfect Wedding Venue"
We had our wedding in Castle Leslie on 5 September 2020. As a "covid bride", it was quite a stressful time but our wedding coordinator Helen McManus went above and beyond to make everything as easy as possible. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and nothing was ever a problem. On the day everything ran seamlessly.

We stayed in the magnificent West Wing (newly renovated room in the Castle) which offered a perfect space to get ready the morning of the wedding. It is even possible to get a massage in its private pamper parlor which is a real treat. Paul managed the wedding day for us and like Helen, nothing was ever a problem. He was absolutely fantastic and we would have been lost without him on the day.

Everyone was raving about the food which was excellent, as well as the service. It felt like a fine dining experience rather than standard wedding food. Be sure to get the chocolate fondant for dessert!

Diane and Claire working on reception were a pleasure to deal with - offering jewellery advice, fixing my dress and just generally being extremely efficient.

All of our guests felt very safe in the covid climate. Temperatures were checked, sanitiser was readily available and social distancing was never a problem.

We had an absolutely brilliant day, made all the more special by the staff at Castle Leslie. We look forward to returning for many years to come.

"Incredible venue for our very special wedding!"
My husband and I recently had our wedding at Castle Leslie and we couldn’t have been happier. As a result of all the Covid-19 changes it was very different to what we’d planned but the team at Castle Leslie couldn’t have been more helpful. Both of our families stayed over the night before the wedding too and it was just lovely - the rooms in the castle and mews are stunning and so full of character, and the food and drinks were brilliant. On the day we couldn’t have asked for more - everything ran like clockwork with the team - in particular Roisin, Alan and Nicole - accommodating every request for us and our guests. Along with the spectacular venue itself, the food and drinks were delicious and it felt like the most amazing private house party (in a castle!) with just 45 of us! All social distancing measures were in place without it impacting the day at all, thanks to the attentive team at the Castle and every effort going towards making the day feel as special as ever. I would highly recommend Castle Leslie either for a holiday break or for a special function.
