The outside space is a true oasis – morning, noon or night, you can soak up the Grecian rays on the lounge chairs, rustle up dinner on the Weber barbecue and watch the oceanfront sunset with a cocktail in hand. Inside, splashes of greens and blues balance out the crisp white hues, creating minimal, light-filled spaces that beckon for relaxing. Two cosy bedrooms have sleek en-suites, while the third bedroom has its own entrance – perfect for those wanting a bit more privacy. And they all have access to the terraces, so you'll be able to embrace indoor/outdoor living with ease.

For a change of scenery, set off and explore the southeastern side of Mykonos. Swim in the crystal clear waters of Paralia Elia (a five-minute drive), sprawl out in the sand on Paralia Kalafati (ten minutes by car) or head inward to the village of Ano Mera for local tavernas, quaint cafes and delicious bakeries set amongst cobbled streets and pretty whitewashed houses (a seven-minute car ride).

*One half of Paralia Elia is a naturalist beach, so it may not be the best spot to take the kids – Kalafati has more family-friendly options
