An old stone fireplace, terracotta floor tiles and wooden ceilings whisper of the old world, while flatscreen TVs and mod cons in the kitchens keep things solidly 21st-century. When it comes to days out, Kalo Livadi beach is just a three-minute drive away and the pretty village of Ano Mera is four minutes by car where you’ll find a 16th-century monastery, local market and a handful of local taverns in the idyllic streets.
