n the southern coast of Rhodes, near the peaceful village of Lachania, this modern villa is thoughtfully designed and stylishly executed. A sultry living room with dark tiled walls is the perfect place to spend cooler evenings, where you can browse on the iPad, fire up the bluetooth speaker, or play on the PS4. The bright, modern kitchen is well-equipped for making everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners. All three bedrooms have comfy king size beds and TVs, and the top floor bedroom leads out onto a peaceful balcony. There are two decadent design-led bathrooms with statement light fixtures and a large walk in shower.

In the summer months you’ll want to spend most of your time outside. Start the day by stepping out onto the balcony to admire the breathtaking view down to the sea, before heading down to the pool for a pre-breakfast dip. The house is 150 metres from the coastline, and a three-minute drive from the nearest beach. After a day of frolicking in the sea, head into Lachania, where you’ll find alfresco tavernas and laid back restaurants in the tree-lined square serving Greek and Italian fare. The stars here are beautiful, and there’s no better way to enjoy them than soaking in the hot tub back at home.
