Situated in a residential area of Venice, this apartment allows you to enjoy the city while avoiding the hustle and bustle. There's a small private garden here, which is a rarity in these parts – it is unfurnished, though, so it’s not the most charming space. Inside, the small kitchen means light bites only – but if you have a hankering for something more substantial, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Plus, Santa Lucia train station is only ten minutes away, and there's easy access to excellent wine bars and taverns nearby.

*Although this home can sleep four people, the maximum occupancy here is three guests.
*Parking in Venice can be tricky and cars aren't allowed in most of the city. Instead of driving, we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
*Please note, this home does not accept groups of young people.
*When we visited, the second bedroom’s curtains here didn’t fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask.
*The kitchen is on the smaller side. We think it's better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
