It's a studio arrangement, yet a separate eat-in kitchen and private garden give you more options than your typical single-room setup. You'll find a hot tub, patio table and chairs outside, so in the warmer months, you can sit and enjoy the sunshine for hours. And with all there is to do around here, you may not make it inside until bedtime. You'll have use of the tennis court, orchard picnic area, basketball hoop, woodland, nature reserve and river beach. Your hosts can also hook you up with discounted tickets to the Lost Gardens of Heligan or organise remarkable experiences such as foraging workshops, paddleboarding, spa treatments or afternoon tea. Did we mention that some of Cornwalls most gorgeous beaches are just thirteen miles away? Back home, round off an explorative day curled up by the crackling fire with a good book and a glass of wine in hand. *This is a rural escape, so you will need a car to get around – there is off-street parking directly outside the cottage

*The hot tub is just outside the backdoor, between November to March there's a daily charge of £20 to use it
*While a shampoo bar and hand soap are provided, liquid products aren't provided due to environmental reasons
