Stop off for a classic scone with jam and clotted cream or tuck into a full English breakfast close by or visit the award-winning restaurant 'The Merchant's Yard' for a special occasion. In warmer months, make the most of the sunny south-facing courtyard and relax with a bottle of something sparkling after a day spent roaming this beautifully unbridled landscape.

*The second bedroom is made up of twin single beds and on the slightly smaller side, so is better suited to younger children
*We recommend having a car for this location – there's plenty of free on-street parking in front and to the side of the cottage
*Up to two small dogs are welcome for an additional cost of £25, although your host asks that they're kept downstairs and over the age of 6 months – there's even a heated doggy shower outside the courtyard
