Outside, you can bask in the natural beauty of the setting from the swimming pool (open seasonally) or whilst relaxing under the shaded pergola. Inside, the rooms are simple and rustic – the house itself dates back to the 19th century. And while the decor might not be to everyone's taste, we think this home is all about its spectacular location. From here, it’s just a short drive to local amenities, while towns like Cortona and Assisi are both 45 kilometres away. Your host can also help organise a range of tours and experiences – including wine tastings and walking trips.

*Children will need to be supervised on the stairs and outside at all times
