The Swift: Lisbon

The Swift is right in the middle of the city, on the border of the Alfama and the Baixa. It’s hard to overstate the significance of the location, which is perfect for short trips to Lisbon (although the sheer number of people outside might get a bit tiring over a long period of time). The flat’s solid, and very comfortable, as long as you don’t try to overfill it – five is definitely too many. For the most part it’s designed in a pretty simple manner, but the bathroom and the kitchen are both clad in marble, which is a nice touch.

*Rather than a double bed, there are two singles pushed together
*Technically three people can sleep on two sofa beds in the living room, but five would be too many for this space
*The flat is right in the middle of the city – expect lots of people and noise in the street outside
