This home is all about location, location, location. Tucked away on the quays of the Seine in Saint Germain-des-Prés, Notre Dame and the Louvre are less than a ten-minute walk away. We'll be honest and tell you it's a tight space, with little in the way of natural light, but it's a smart and well-maintained little pad with everything you could need for a short trip to this incredible city. You're not here for the apartment, after all, but the culture, the food, the history and the architecture. Inside, you'll find a comfortable living area with a kitchenette, a bedroom off it and a shower room. The separate WC is through the living room so any visitors don't have to trek through your sleeping quarters.

* The home has very little storage space and no real wardrobe so we recommend you pack lightly

* There is little natural light in this home and no view from the windows so it may not be one for the sun-seekers

* The lift to the apartment is very small so you may have to go one by one

*Between two floors, the lift doesn't go directly to this level so you'll still need to manage some steps

*This is a studio home so there's no separate bedroom here
