And with miles of valley routes in the local vicinity, it's the perfect spot for hikers and cyclists. At the villa, you'll have a private swimming pool and a covered terrace annexe with a fireplace, pizza oven and alfresco dining area to enjoy the Tuscan sunsets. While the interiors feel a little dated in terms of design, they don't seem out of place amid the traditional lifestyle of this part of Italy.

*There are stairs to access parts of the home, so it may not be suited to those with limited mobility.
*The pool is open from May to October.
*Please note the first-floor apartment is closed off when the villa is booked for capacity of ten guests.
