As far as sea views go, it doesn’t get much better than a former lighthouse building. Above the rocks, this secluded home is a unique way to experience the Cornish coast. Watch ships sail by from (almost) every room in the house, or head down to find a private sandy beach just a couple of minutes walk away – the historic monument of Queen Adelaide's Grotto is also just forty-five metres away from the home. Take a pair of binoculars outside onto the patio or roof terrace and if you’re lucky you might spot seals and dolphins in the waves below. Some have said it's also a great place for sightings of rare bird migrations if you’re visiting in spring or autumn. This nautical-themed house is ideal for your next family holiday, with three comfy bedrooms (all with their own bathrooms) and a large dining table for home-cooked meals. Go for a half-hour stroll along the dramatic coastline to find delicious pub food in the quaint fishing villages of Cawsand and Kingsand (both just an-minute drive away). Hop in the car to reach miles of surfing beach at Whitsand Bay in fifteen minutes.
