Set within a Haussmann building, this splendid apartment embraces the distinctive feel of the French capital. High ceilings and a wall of French windows in the living room hark back to the 19th century along with the herringbone floor. Wrought-iron railings create Juliet-style balconies when the windows are open, looking across the charming boulevard to equally handsome sandstone buildings. Crisp white walls keep things feeling fresh and breezy, and the book-stuffed shelves make it seem as though an author or philosopher might stay here. Those that need to work remotely can make use of the cute little office room, where a selection of books can inspire.

Within your typically Parisian neighbourhood, you’ve got restaurants, shops and bars right downstairs. A maze of leafy boulevards is home to candle-lit bistros and the famous Père Lachaise cemetery is across the street. Three metro stations within easy walking distance are ready to whisk you into the heart of Paris for Notre Dame, The Louvre and the Latin Quarter in around fifteen minutes.

*At capacity, two guests will be on the sofa bed in the office room which has glass walls so is not the most private of spaces
*Towels and bed linen are changed every 10 days during your stay
*This home is on the third floor but there is a lift in the building
*Parking in central Paris can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible – though we think the best way to see the city is on foot
