Just a short stroll from the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, this home is ideal for a family in need of a functional base within the heart of the city. While the home might not be ideal for extended stays – there's no oven, nor a proper dining table – it's cosy enough, and there's plenty of natural light. You're just a few minutes from the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station here, too – perfect if you want to explore more of Tuscany, or would like quick access to the airport.

Home truths:
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*There is only a small dining table here. We don't think it's big enough for everyone to eat at the same time.
*If you're travelling for work, you'll find a desk in one of the bedrooms and in the living area.
*This home is located within an apartment building, with a shared entrance. Expect to bump into other guests during your stay.
